THE NSW Premier, Barry O'Farrell, met with his Chinese political equivalent yesterday in a show of faith for the $400 million development proposed for Wagga.

The meeting builds on his visit to China earlier this year and an ongoing conversation over international trade.
"I had a meeting with representatives in (China) earlier this year … that was the first involvement," he told the Advertiser.
"My message is clear: increased two-way trade and investment between Australia and China creates opportunities for all of us.
"It can't all be about Sydney, we're determined to have a government that doesn't just focus on Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, but focuses on the whole state."
The sensitive business relationships between Australian and Chinese politicians has been carefully navigated on every level.
Making sure everyone has an understanding of the processes is the biggest hurdle.
Mr O'Farrell yesterday met with the party secretary of the Liaoning province, Wang Min.
"He's a senior provincial leader so I greeted him the same way they greet me over there."
The Premier said he welcomed any development which drives regional economies.
"We'll work councils across the state to try and ensure region development occurs so our plans and our goals of greater decentralisation and giving people the option of continuing to stay in places like the south of the state continue," he said.
